Athena is Docket’s built-in agent. Open Athena for a conversation, ask from Today, or assign a Task when Athena should own a bounded result.

Athena uses your access

Athena belongs to your account. Focus a conversation on a workspace to set the context. That focus does not grant access. Athena checks your identity and permissions when it reads or changes work. If you cannot change a Project, approving Athena’s proposal does not give Athena a way around that rule.

Ask from any page

Press Cmd+J on macOS or Ctrl+J on Windows and Linux to open Athena in the utility rail. The current page stays visible while you talk. Today can open the same rail with the current workspace and a draft question already set. The Athena page opens the same conversation as a full-page surface. Moving between the page and the rail does not start a second thread.

Assign or delegate a Task

Assign a Task to Athena when Athena owns the result. Keep yourself as the assignee and set Athena as the delegate when Athena works on your behalf. The Task opens an agent session. The session shows the conversation, tool calls, questions, and proposed changes for that run.

Choose how Athena acts

Set your account default under Settings → Athena: A registered agent can also have its own trust setting. Workspace and Team rules can narrow how agent work is approved.

Review proposed changes

A proposal shows what Athena intends to change. You can approve it, edit supported fields before approval, or reject it. Docket records the decision and the person who made it. See Proposals and approvals.

Add standing instructions

Use Settings → Athena for instructions that should follow you across workspaces. Workspace and Team guidance can add rules for a specific context. Write instructions as operating rules. For example, write “Draft replies, but do not send them” or “Ask before assigning work to volunteers.”

Choose where Athena runs

Docket can use its standard model service. Supported deployments can also run Athena’s model work on a computer connected through Lovelace. See Bring your own model.
