# Inbox

> Review notifications that concern you, act on requests, and control how Docket delivers updates.

Inbox holds notifications that concern you. Use it to respond to requests, mentions, assignments,
and other updates.

## Work the Inbox

Inbox separates **Needs action** from ordinary **Updates**. Use the tabs to show everything,
unread items, requests that need action, announcements, mentions and assignments, or recent
activity.

Approve a supported request from its row. Open other notifications to act in their source. Mark an
item as read when you have handled it, or use **Mark all read** for the current feed.

Every cross-workspace row names the workspace that produced it.

## Set notification delivery

Choose the available email, SMS, push, and web channels under **Settings → Notifications**.
Changing a delivery channel does not remove the notification from Inbox.
